My Bette Davis as Margo Channing in All About Eve was formerly a Red Hot Charice doll (MiKelman trademark), remolded and repainted
ABOUT THE DRESS

It is with great pride and excitement that Charlie Dale and Strictly Dolls present you this American Film Classic to scale replica of the dress worn by Margo Channing in the film "All About Eve". The incomparable and volcanic Bette Davis portrayed Margo Channing. The film first was released in 1950 that was produced by Darryl F. Zanuck and directed by Joseph Leo Mankievicz.
The dress was originally designed by Hollywood legend Edith Head and Charles Le Maire. Ms. Davis was not the original selection for the role even though it proved to be one of her most famous roles in a career that spanned 60 plus years.
This replica was constructed using the fines of Haute Couture skills and quality fabrics that include: 50 year old satin, which was de-stressed (washed); 60 year ol genuine taupe colored fox; 80 year old Austrian Crystals, a 50 year old genuine gold pin; new French tulle; 100 Egyptian cotton lining and 40 year old non-rusting metal snaps that were covered with fabric.
The dress includes hand rolled hems, fully lined bodice and a first Strictly Dolls: the entire dress is fully re-moveable.
